Ms. Edward is 42 years is old female who came to the clinic with complaint of being tired and Amenorrhea for almost a year. According to the patient, the problem started almost 2 years ago. she has had a normal menstrual period prior to that. The patient also complains of sweat and insomnia at night, she has gain 5 pounds as well, she denies any other issues, her vital signs remain stable in addition to being afebrile. Changes in weight, hot flashes, sexually active however uses condom as protection.

Patient reports "I I’m not sleeping well and am tired. I wake up early and sweaty. My period has also stopped. Sexual encounter is now uncomfortable, the menstrual irregularity started after the death of my mother almost two years ago. my mother died suddenly. I barely get a night sleep. Sometimes I have to change the bed sheet because I sweat so much during the night. I also think my mom diabetes took a tow on her body, and my father his 62 years old with high blood pressure.”

The patient is alert and oriented and able to answer most of the questions.
