Learning something new can be a scary experience. One of the hardest choices I have ever taken was when I choose to study abroad and learn English. It was a tough day because the decision had a lot to do with my future. I could not stop crying when I left my family in the airport I cried like a young baby who is trying to find his mother in a crowded place.
In the first semester I did very well in all my classes, but in the second term, I failed. I failed because I heard a terrible news which is my father got sick (kidney problems ). His condition was awful. I tried to be strong in that day but I could not because I felt like that I am going to lose my father. I decide to work hard and finish the term with good grades to make my father happy because he cares a lot about my future. The semester ends, and I passed all my classes, and I was very excited to call my father and tell him that I passed my classes. I called him, and he said to me that please keep telling me good news because good news may help relieve the pain. Lastly, I did the IELTS test, and I passed it.
Studying abroad benefit me a lot, now I can talk, write and speak in English .The most important thing I learned from this journey was self-reliance.
