Purpose

This should contain a brief summary of purpose of the memo. Skip one line between each section or paragraph of the memo. The entire memo must be single spaced and left justified. Page number must be included if the memo is more than one page in length.

Discussion

This is the body of the memo. It is where you discuss the main points of the memo in depth. It can be one paragraph or several paragraphs. It all depends on the assignment.

Recommendation/Conclusion/Next Action Steps, etc. (this is related to the assignment)

This is the conclusion of the memo. It is where you will indicate your recommendations for change or suggestions for actions to be taken. This section may or may not be required. It is dependent on the assignment requirements.
