Business Plan Project
Business Plan Project Assignment Memo
Your Business Plan Project is a business plan and should have the title “Business Plan Project” followed by the name of your proposed company on the next line, date, and name of instructor on the cover page. This memo outlines the requirements for the business plan and should be read in conjunction with the additional posting, “Business Plan Report Outline and Instructions,” and “Business Plan PowerPoint Instructions and Evaluation Form.”
General Instructions
The Business Plan Project is a 10 – 12 page (does not include cover page, table of contents, reference page, and appendix) typed-written assignment with a PowerPoint presentation. This project entails coming up with a non-profit, social entrepreneurship, philanthropic or civic business idea. You will visualize this project as a real-life business idea that requires investor or regulatory support.
The plan should be a well-coordinated and developed plan reflective of the typical components of a business plan as indicated in the “Business Plan Report Outline and Instructions” and of the learning in this course.
The Business Plan Project should reflect original research conducted on the subject of business plans, the industry of your chosen business, and the specifics for your business. The Business Plan should follow APA standards for both the pages and the citations in the Business Plan and double-spaced. See the posting, “Business Plan Report Outline and Instructions” and “Business Plan PowerPoint Instructions and Evaluation Form” for additional specific details.
Your plan should be based on research you have done using a minimum of 3 - 5 or more credible and valid sources. Specific citations to the sources are required. Citations such as www.yahoo.com are not sufficient. Please follow APA guidelines.
