SWOT Analysis Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats  Good and a well organized system Ineffectiveness in consumerism Easy to improve their services Strong competitors and rivals Capable of offering quality services Poor leadership and management Change in stare rate of -related services and health conditions Lack of expertise or any experiences Availability of the EM systems Fast and reliable medial related practices Effective services  Strengths The University Health System is one of the best-known systems for a long time. It is also related to being successful in most case. Therefore, this case provides it with an excellent capability where patients and other individuals consider this as the strength of the system. Outstanding performance and success will always and significantly affect any organization to perform well in the future. Other than that, it has more capable service offering which is essential for any healthcare service. These survive it as a healthcare operational sector to offer excellent services to different patients, ensuring useful researches and most importantly providing a chance to provide services to a considerable number of individuals. The EMS system is mainly related to emergency services. These services are dedicated to the provision of some out-of-hospital acute healthcare operations, transporting patients to definitive cares and any other emergency that maybe requiring urgent medical attention (Doherty, 2009). As a result, these services are vital is one way or another as they help to ensure significant healthcare provision for patients even in critical conditions or in cases where they cannot access medical care efficiently and with limited time. Weaknesses Management and leadership, in this case, may hinder consumerism. As a result, the economic and social order of ideology which dramatically tends to encourage acquisition of services in amounts that are ever increasing will be hindered. Therefore, the interest of patients and another customer will be significantly influenced in one way or another. Without proper management, leadership, and control, for an organization smoothly run, it may take time, or even it may never be which is same to this case. Opportunities There is an excellent opportunity where the management and leadership can effectively organize, initiate and control services and treatment operation about the organization. The sector is well known, and the administration can easily know and improve any negative factor that may contribute to the failures in the future while considering opinions and consideration from different individuals. This case allows them a good opportunity and room for improving their services and operations in one way or another provided that they maintain their capabilities and customers’ requirements. Second, healthcare-related services and health conditions are changing at a stare rate. With the capabilities, health equipment and services that it may offer, it can easily break and adapted to these new environments. Unlike most organizations and systems, their skills are above average. Thus they can quickly come up with new ideas and methods of treatments depending on the new environment, Threat Strong rivals will always affect not only in this case but also any other firm. Competition is an essential aspect to consider as it will still be available in many organizations. Only those that are strong will survive. Second is consideration of new approaches (Doherty, 2009). For example, Centre for Medicaid Services requires patients to have a quick discharge, sent home then readmitted back in case of any complication rather than having them on surgery. This approach is new which limits the system to the particular condition, and any failure will significantly result in the collapse of the system on the other hand. It offers a threat has there are no expertise or any experiences regarding the provided condition which may affect the performance and success of this healthcare system in the end. In conclusion, this health sector is capable of patterning with other retail organization in one way or another.

Mission and core values of the building: Above all else, our mission is to provide exceptional patient focus and care by providing easy access out-patient pharmaceutical needs. Together, we are building an easy path between patients and high quality pharmaceutical services. Will patients or visitors be in the area; if so, what is the best design for work flow?: Patients and visitors both will be in the area. We anticipate seeing approximately 160 patients daily.  What is the purpose of this work area?  The purpose of the work area is for pharmacists in the outpatient clinic to provide multiple roles that range from processing prescription orders, dispensing medications, and medication therapy management (MTM) services to provide the best patient care. This environment allows patients to speak with an experienced pharmacist about their prescription(s) and any questions or concerns they may have, as well as scheduling medication therapy management services. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in an outpatient clinic work closely with health care professionals for the transition of patient care. Outpatient pharmacy clinics can often-times focus more closely on HIV/AIDS, diabetes, and other diseases/health concerns.

Technology needs for Outpatient Pharmacy: -Computers, tablets, telephones, hot spots, and credit card machine. (this would include chargers, internet (most likely cover by hospital attached with the pharmacy), and an EHR system (again would match the system hospital has.) -Printer, fax machine, scanners, and lab makers. With having 10 employees I was thinking that there would be possible 4 computers. I’m thinking 5 tablets for the Pharmacist to be able to travel. Then 3 mobile hotspots as emergency situations. I would think 2 windows would be available for pick-up which would mean 2 credit card machines(could be three if we have drive through). We would need about 4 telephones in the outpatient pharmacy. 1 printer, scanner, and fax machine for the pharmacy. Item Cost Quantity Printer(include features) $1,895.00 1 Computers $3,000 4 Credit Card Machine $1,152.87 3 Telephones $559.96 4 Hot Spots $473.97 3 Tablets $1,399.95 5 *Staples Office Supply website used for pricing and Officemax Website.

Use Technology Responsibly employee should use the computers only for work reason only.  Set Standards and Provide Skills Development every business should have standards that the employee need to follow. these roles and standards should be clear enough for employee and throughout the business. as a reminder  Communicate Effectively and Efficiently managers and leader should communicate with the employee and must have a monthly meeting, will discuss the achievement, learn from their mistakes. address the weaknesses and work to improve it.  Set Clear Goals and Provide Feedback employee will work better if they are clear on what’s needed to be done and if it’s gone properly what are the benefits and the achievement.  Give Each Other Feedback giving a feedback will help achieve more and when there more opinion will be a better outcome.
