This memo shows how a local nonprofit organisation sources its funds. A nonprofit corporation is a firm formed by a group of people to pursue an objective without distributing excess revenue to its members. There exist many local charitable organisations worldwide. Having nonprofit institutions is very vital. The local nonprofit entity to look at here is The Africa-America Institute. It has been in the business to offer training and education for the development of Africa's human capacity. It gives education opportunities at low costs. Africa-America Institute has a mission which is to unify human knowledge towards the development of Africa through education, convening activities, skills training and dialogue. Its objective is to play a vital role in giving out opportunities to the youth to strengthen their skills and be the primary economic controllers in their communities.
Explanation on how the research is conducted is crucial. I have since discovered that a model is formed to identify building projects and coordinate financial administration needed to deliver high-quality results. It is based on this model where funding of sources will come from. The model has donors, beneficiaries, service providers and collaborators. Donors provide financing, and they could include organisations like development agencies, African governments, individuals and U.S. Agencies. Beneficiaries are the organisations, individuals and the youths. Service providers help identify a need, and source users or deliver programs. Recipients here are the universities in Africa and U.S., researchers, facilitators and professionals.
The institute provides African institutions with the most significant range of choices to satisfy their needs for advanced training and education. Africa-America institute programs ensure individuals benefit from scholarships and other education programs. An estimate shows that 90 percent of Africa-America institute alumni dwell and work in Africa. They contribute to development in fields that seem difficult for development. The funding sources selected are donors, African Higher Education and training program, the rising stars of African finance program, AAI Future leaders Legacy Fund. They are chosen because they all aim at reclaiming the future of African youths and making Africa to be a continent that many would want to live in.
Attached is a catalogue to show relevant funding sources for the Africa-America Institute. A catalogue entry for each opportunity is displayed.
