Mediation Requirements
• To be a mediator one must be accredited by a Recognised Mediator Accreditation Body for the
following:
o Good character
o Compliance to industry practice standards
o Compliance to legislative and approval requirements
o Evident with relevant insurance, statutory indemnity or employee status
o Evident with competence as a mediator through education, training, and/or experience
• To commence a mediation, Bounce Fitness must ensure that they can provide a safe environment
where the mediation can be conducted.

Mediation Process
1. Convene the mediation
o Plan and prepare for the mediation. This includes:
▪ Preparing necessary documents
▪ Contacting parties involved
2. Conduct an opening session
o Meeting with individual parties separately to get agreement on certain aspects of the
mediation to be conducted
3. Communication
o During the session, discuss all necessary information and detail that will help come up
with a solution to the dispute
4. Negotiation
o Plan out or suggest solution to the parties involved. Providing no bias to any side of the
dispute.
5. Closure
o Briefing of the conducted mediation. Discussion of the results or planning of the next
session.
