1) Media Analysis Paper – Write a 5 page (double-spaced) paper that explores some aspect of the current state of representation and diversity in media. You may choose to focus on onemedia text (e.g. a film, a television series or event) or to do a comparative analysis of two texts. You may also choose to focus on a media figure/celebrity, though you will need select two representative texts from their career. Your paper should include a minimum of four scholarly sources, at least two of which should go beyond readings that were assigned for class. Sources should be cited in MLA style and included in a works cited page.
