A. Use the three cut method
B. Make first cut or undercut on the tree sides in required direction
C. Cut horizontally into the tree
D. One third into the trunk
E. Cut upward angle to meet the first cut
F. Remove the wedge of wood
G. Make third cut or back-cut on the opposite side of the tree
H. Cut horizontally, two inches above the first cut and remove the saw
I. Retreat down on the escape paths as you watch the tree fall
