Experience June 2012 – Current Verizon Wireless, City, State Member Technical Staff - IT Support • Assist users with ticket and other IT requests. Maintain a high level of accountability shown through high survey results taken by users after ticket work has been completed • Lead tech for desktop items such as hardware, OS Imaging, software deployments, and advanced troubleshooting for Mountain region area covering all of Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. • Lead tech for Mac OS onboarding for Mountain region. All user questions and concerns filter through me before any escalations to the Mac OS engineering team for further escalation to Apple or JAMF. (JAMF software used for Mac OS management) • Responsible for 19 sites including 1 call center, 3 business offices, 2 Mobile switch centers, and 13 retail stores. Responsibility includes server, switch, and router installs. New network implementation, upgrades, and changes. Working with telco providers from different vendors to quickly resolve outages or network latency, and all phone systems. • Cisco product IOS upgrades, as well as implementing configurations provided by national Network Operations teams. Responsible to troubleshoot onsite issues with cisco switches and routes in all sites. • Call center responsibility included imaging and maintenance of HP Thin Clients connecting to remote Citrix servers as well as phone systems for call center employees. User base ranged between 800 and 1000 employees. • Maintained inventory levels and equipment ordering for all Verizon sites in the state of Utah. This includes item counts, and serial tracking of any items with a value over $500. • Lead all projects and track completion for user enhancements such as end of life hardware replacement for End of LIfe hardware. New system deployments such as Apple iPad deployment to retail employees. First point of contact to resolve all issues for new system or hardware rollouts. • Test new software prior to launch on the Verizon network. Provide feedback and offer a GO or NO GO for software deployments. • Create user how to documentation to be provided to users when new systems or processes are rolled out.
