Hello Class/Professor: Math is important. Charts and graphs are suppose to be helpful and they are depending on the situation and purpose. Graphs/Charts can be useful in many betters such as giving your a better format to understand a topic or event. It’s easy to compare things when using a chart or graph. They also help teach information and data better and more easier. The con of a chart/graph is inconsistent math or data that helped people think something that didn’t happen. During the last election the graphs and charts on CNN and MSNBC showed Hilary Clinton in the lead, but somehow we ended up with Trump winning. Although she won the popular vote he won the electoral votes. This was definitely a lesson for me and probably a lot of us. Charts and graphs need proper data in order to be useful and accurate that’s why statistics is important and getting the answer correct. Tiara
