Hello Everyone,
I disagree with the statement. Now reading and writing is essential for everyday living and thriving. I believe that statistical thinking is important but is it anywhere on the level as reading and writing? No, it isn't. I say that because up until this point in my life being 32 years old reading and writing is how i have survived, it played a very important part of my life. Statistical thinking hasn't played that much of a part for me.
