Theoretical Considerations

Reframe your research question here as the basis for what you think is the solution.

Posit a theoretical basis for and answer to your question. “It is possible that … this is going on… that would explain the effect…” or “According to …( x, 2017) the effect we see is the result of…”

Posit a model of the interaction between the dependent variable (effect) and the independent variables (causes). State what that relationship might be you want to test. Support your solution and model explaining the effect or relationship with some model perhaps backed up by literature sources. Be sure to add citation.

Variables

Define the dependent, independent and moderating variables (if any).

Hypothesis

Define at least three hypotheses. Be sure to state the alternative hypothesis and null hypothesis. Make sure to make them measurable.
