SOCIAL MEDIA 2

Introduction

Social media platforms such as Facebook and tweeter get connected to many people in

the world. Social media has also made alit more links with people of the same families to

communicate despite the distance to reach others. They form a good platform upon which people

interact from different parts of the globe and enhance socialization in this technology era.

Businesses become a better point of having to market their products due to the widespread

connectivity using social media where they can get used to the market. New products add value

to the existing products, making many customers; when there is also feedback needed in the

business, the social media platform gets used.

Discussion

Social media practices

The social practices that get done in the social media include research for the customer's

needs and expectations that they have and anticipate for the real-time how they can undertake the

changes so that their customers can have to get satisfied with the products and the services that

get offered (Atanassova & Clark, 2015). some of the practices include conduction a competitor

audit to understand what the competitors are doing to compete for the business by using social

media strategies. The products that relate to fashions and architecture where they get to market

the mortgage, electronics, and new cloth fashions marketing best done using social media. Many

companies use social media to make their brands maintain the market's voice by having it known

to the market. They have improved it so that they can get to attract customers (Salloum et

al.,2019). other practices that get done include searching for words political and sports news.

Regulation of social media

Lauri Welhouse
You failed to provide several examples of regulation of social media. (I really only see one where you talk about hate to war...). There are specific practices of regulation of social media. In order to get to mastery be sure to 'give several good examples of social media regulation and an insightful analysis of impact'.
Lauri Welhouse
You have failed to identify several specific social media practices are linked with each of the three you've chosen. For instance: You noticed that MSNBS on Pinterest doesn't allow the commentary to attack others and they will remove a post. Be sure to identify and thoroughly analyze the specific practices that are linked with each of the 3 you've chosen.

Lauri Welhouse
For the introduction you should provide a strong, in-depth introduction on the media you studied, not just social media in general. Remember this is about 3 different social media news sources. You reached only competence with this very general introduction.

Social media regulations can get made by the rule of law to impose some orders and laws

regulating social media use. To the current time, media companies such as tweeter, Facebook,

Tikitok left to control themselves on their own. There is not good because they need to have

regulations on how they conduct the social media posts where some of the posts are of low

intensity depending on the values and beliefs of the society where people get to post even what is

not good (Quinn, 2016). The media such as CNN Have their handle with which they post what is

necessary but regulated by the CNN company's laws, and the related media company does the

same. When the rules, especially in the countries where they have made some regulations on the

use of online platforms such as Facebook and tweeter of the public about situations like

propagating hate to war, many tend to pull back where the user becomes minimal.

Ethical concerns of social media

There are some of the concerns in how social media content gets communicated because

meant of the time. There is a lack of honesty in ranges that get advertised because many products

advertised are not precisely that ends up in the customers' hands that bring about a lot of honesty

and truthfulness. Trust can be in terms of the prices, quantity, and quality of the media's

products, such as Facebook pages. These platforms are also full of bias of the same products they

may praise the products beyond what the product can offer to the clients, therefore, creating a lot

of ethical concerns. There is fear due to the lack of honesty of the products advertised and will

lead to many people using the online platform to lack trust. When it comes to social media, the

fear is upon privacy. It can be challenging to enhance the business's privacy since it can easily

expose many privacy practices and place the company at risk.

Culture of each site

Lauri Welhouse
This area failed to identify specific users' response(s) to questionable responses. This is too general. Be specific to show you have good examples and thoughtfully and completely considered the culture of the sites.
Lauri Welhouse
You reached Proficiency for ethical concerns by touching on trust, honesty, and privacy with basic impact. In order to move to mastery, you will want to thoroughly analyze each ethical concern.

Users of platforms such as Facebook are not sensitive to racism, but they can openly do

discrimination, and mockery is not a big deal. It can happen at any time and to any person with

all manner of language and insults. The users vary in how they respond to questions, as some

tend to answer in don't care attitude. Therefore, there is nothing like respect to avoid racism or

concern to personality is a minimal number of sensitive users like that. On sites like tweeter,

there is also a similar case as Facebook, but it is slightly moderate compared to Facebook (Fuchs,

2015). When we talk of sites such as Instagram, there is more reality. The situations are less the

same as on tweeter and Facebook.

Conclusion

Social media has a wide range of practices which include marketing of the business

products and enable them to grow very widely in different parts of the globe and have the voices

of the products as high as possible. The social media platforms regulation in most countries made

by social media owners such as Facebook and tweeter, but some states have the rules of what

should be done in social media as they can lead to jailing. these social platforms on many

occasions they lack sensitivity to race, and they have open mockery

Lauri Welhouse
You demonstrated Competence in your conclusion. But, you gave only a bit of conclusion and you need to provide a more thorough, thoughtful conclusion summarizing the specific findings of the paper.
