Criteria 3

NDIS Analysis and Critique (18 marks)

The student demonstrates an understanding of the NDIS acknowledging the previously identiSed historical and current societal contexts. There is evidence of an exploration of some the issues surrounding the implementation and roll out of the scheme. Claims are backed by academic literature and /or signiScant sources to demonstrate both a depth and breadth of the issues. There is evidence of critique in the discussion (not just stated facts). There is an attempt to integrate other theoretical constructs covered in the unit to underpin demonstration of knowledge.

Criteria 4

NDIS Impact (7 marks)

Exploration, reWection and discussion of the impact of the NDIS on how people with disability are supported in Australia. Evidence of the use of contemporary examples to illustrate the claims made in the narrative (grey literature, media reports, social media and personal examples are appropriate but should be referenced appropriately).
