Introduction
Lemongrass Spa is an organization that sells both beauty and skincare products. Since most skincare and beauty products have chemicals from their manufacturing to their packaging, they pose health-related risks to the user. It is due to this reason that Lemongrass Spa produces products that are not harmful to the human body in terms of a chemical introduction to the body. The organization produces natural products, guaranteeing the user a safer and more effective use of the products. Our company has been outstanding among most of the related organizations due to the good marketing environment. It has also grown remarkably due to the sale of natural products to its clients, and most of the clients present positive feedback regarding the products.
Marketing Organization
The organization has a well-organized marketing environment that has contributed significantly to its growth and fame. The marketing environment is diverse and encompasses customers, competitors, technology, and the business at large, and it is essential to monitor these environments to ensure an effective business (Camilleri, 2018). Most of the initial Lemongrass Spa’s customers were close friends of the founder, Heidi Leist. They enabled the organization to grow from a home-based organization to a greater enterprise. It has now gained remarkable growth and has numerous customers in the USA. In terms of the work personnel, Heidi’s husband, Bryan, helps her run the business, and we have a considerable number of employees.
The employees produce sizeable quantities of the products in the facility, located at Tarpon Springs, Florida. However, we also have a consultant team that resides at beautiful pine, Colorado, the initial company’s headquarter. For proper identification with the company and understanding how it works, there is a need to understand how the company functions by identifying some of the driving factors and possible adjustments. One of the factors to understand is the source of natural products. The company only relies on natural products to develop our products, and it is essential to dig into the basis of these ingredients. It is also necessary to look into the customer source and the company’s targets. The location of a company matters due to market availability. Since the products mainly target females, it is essential to set up such a business in an area with plenty of females or places where females can easily access.
Competitors and their Strategies
Some of the topmost competitors with Lemongrass Spa are Gilchrist & Soames, G3G, Bluemercury, Sephora, BlissWorld. Gilchrist & Soames is a respected bath and body, brand manufacturer. One of the tactics that Gilchrist & Soames uses to attract its customers is integrating its products with England’s customs. The company also has its products blended with current technology and innovations. The other competitor is Bluemercury Spa. The company offers services with modern technology, depending on the client’s skin and preference. It also uses natural products such as honey to manufacture their products. Although there are still competitors, Lemongrass Spa still has its clients, who claim their products help maintain them. Marketing Research Process
Marketing research requires careful attention. With the proper identification of the right research procedure, the search process is a success. However, failure to identify the correct marketing research problem makes the entire research wasted (Hyman & Sierra, 2015). Marketing research is a process that involves six steps, with the first step being the identification of the research problem. Therefore, when determining the price of the beauty products under sale by Lemongrass Spa, we need to familiarize ourselves with the problem that we are solving. Since the researcher is interested in price, we should limit the investigation to price alone. After clearly defining the problem and turning the situation into an objective, designing the study follows.
In designing the pricing study, it is essential to identify an effective way of determining these products’ prices. Some of these approaches include asking people, asking the costs in a specific company, and doing experiments. The other step involves selecting a sample to ask about the particular product under question. The researcher should pick a sizeable number of people to survey since large groups are not significant and waste the researcher’s time. The other step to engage in is gathering your data. This stage is the most important (Hyman & Sierra, 2015). During this step, the researcher should ensure that they are objective and meet the research question.
The fifth step involves analyzing the results. Every data requires analysis to identify the final results. After gathering data, there is a need to make your analysis. The study will give these products the final price since they wanted to determine each of its costs. The last step involves the communication of the findings. It is also vital to identify the research's target population and the mode of communication. However, since we are interested in these items' prices, we note the references' findings after placing the items. In conclusion, competition is one of the common practices in every business. To ensure an outstanding business, the business owners should use the available resources to maintain their commerce world position. Lemongrass Spa has proven this by using natural products to beat some of its competitors, who use chemicals in their products.
