Frito Lay Canada will make a new snack chip. The new product name is ‘Pocket in pocket’. It will be sale in the market around winter 2018, everybody let’s look forward to see the chip.
For many years people have snacking has become a popular choice. We have just completed the development of chips, a novel and proprietary snacking, compared to competitive products, our chips can control quantity and how many calories you choose to take. Our objective, at this time, is to propel our new product into a prominent market position.
We use our new grill technology to making the chip it healthy because the calories will be less and with low fat. Canadians like to snacking more and more, they even don’t eat the regular food, if they keep doing like this for a long time it, they probably will get some disease. Hypermarkets and supermarkets contributed to a significant share of extruded snacks market and accounted for more than 53% of the overall market revenue. our company designed healthy and delicious new products, we controlled the size of the package, like the name of the product, the pockets in the pockets, very portable, and we packed the condiment packages separately, customers can put the condiments according to their own needs, can reasonably take calories.
I have just a market research study of the Canadian market and discovered some interesting information about the Canadian consumer. Snacking is the fasting growing segment in Canada, but baby boomers want more gourmet unique flavors and healthier options. Currently, customers are using unscientific, unhealthy snacks, which is not what they expect, so our product expectations are very high, customer types are also very wide. We will be more inclined to work in the office worker, because they have a certain income, life pressure is not heavy, high consumption level, life pressure, snack demand.
In terms of sales, we have service centers, retailers, manufacturers, we sell mainly in major supermarkets, such as Wal-Mart, Costco, Loblaws... We'll also create our company's website on the Internet, with more discounts on purchases, so that we can attract customers from more places, and publish the latest ads on the site, with lower costs, but higher sales.
For promotions, I think of an idea that invites YouTuber to do open-box videos and thanks giving, because many people nowadays cannot without YouTube, so I think it's very powerful, and then I learned two ideas from other people's articles, Social Media Contests and Host an Event, which are traditional idea, but I think these are works, so these are the three ways our company is going to promote new products
This is our company's new product, ‘pocket in pocket’, a healthy and innovative snack, I believe we can get customers like and support, thank you.
