1. What were your goals from your week 2 performance review (salary, promotion, work/life?  How did your results in years 23-35 measure against your goals?
Based on the week 2 performance review, I had set a target or beginning as an associate at the age of 25 with $34000. I had projected to become promoted within the next 6 years and become a sales manager at the age of 32 for a salary of $41000. Six years later, I had eyed that I would become a product manager with and earn a total of $72000.This helps me retire at the age of 62 with a salary expectation of $200000 and also with helpful retirement plans. This way I am trying to plan for growth in my career every 6 years as an average. However, based on a ny review, my results and outcome showed some significant changes. For instance, I started off as an Associate with salary of $35000 at the age of 23 while I had projected this to be at the age of 25 years. Despite moreover, my salary goal target at the age of 26 was $$38500 but my results turned out to be as an Associate at the age of 25 with salary $43904. sales manager at the age of 28 with salary $55703. At 31 as sales manager with $69048. At 35 as product manager with $86659 salary. Thus, the results though showed some minor differences but measured fairly with results obtained.
2.  What unethical or illegal decisions did you make in years 36-46?  Why did you think they were ethical/legal?
Age group between 36 up to 46 marked my ten-year period in managerial positions gaining product manager at the age of 38 and regional manager ta 42 years. Even though I had not made any unethical or illegal decisions in early years because I was very diligent at my choices and decisions. For instance, I was charged with overseeing product development, marketing and all sales aspects as a product manager. As more and more responsibilities kept on pilling so was the decision making both in quality and appropriateness. Thus, I had set unrealistic and unachievable goals with an objective of increasing companies’ profits. This decision though not illegal or ethical in itself since some form of aggressiveness is required to achieve sales and production targets, it can put more pressure in subordinates who being afraid of underperforming might take unethical cations like understating cost while overstating profit margin realized. However, I was accountable and didn’t commit any further ethical or unethical actions.
3. What changes (if any) would you like to make to your salary, promotion, and/or work/life balance goals?
Getting a job and earning a good salary is enough and one has to strive to achieve personal development and overall growth. Thus, to achieve this, I have to focus on getting more and more experience to achieve promotion and thereby earn an incremental salary increase. Thus, I would like to make few changes to my salary, promotion and work/life balance after working on simulation activities. I would like to change my salary to $55073 from $38500 at the age of $28 because I believe decision making help me here to add up points to achieve this goal. Moreover, after achieving key ethical criteria, it would be possible to advance on the salary range. Furthermore, I would be able to achieve promotion as my experience and skills continue to grow.
4. What can you do to improve in your simulation performance?
Improving on simulation performance is key to achieving overall salary, promotion and work life objectives. Firstly, I would I have to focus on making effective decision free from bias and prejudice.
