To illustrate mastery, please highlight specific ways that management can help each employee (e.g. specific trainings, mentoring opportunities, etc). I recommend a review of the Conversations About Job Performance: A Communication Perspective on the Appraisal Process, Chapter 8 (pp. 144–159) resource for assistance.
