Student is expected to type this content into the newsletter for Publisher hands on assessment. Management Global Services (MGS) was initiated as part of the 2015 National agreement. With our program now in full swing, we are pleased to provide you with information on our services. Please look out for regular updates from us in the future.
Below articles for the Management Global Services’ four, core service areas:
1. TRAINING: To date, some of the hard-to-fill and critical training programs developed and funded through MGS include digital imaging (CT/MRI), medical terminology, nursing (RN and ED), LVN to RN, L&D specialty training, OR training program, perioperative training program and many others.
Training programs for employees are available through the National Career Development Education Fund. Training programs for all other York County employees are developed by the MGS Regional Committee and funded through the Brackett Memorial Trust Fund.
2. CAREER DEVELOPMENT: For all employees, career counselors are available at all
All York County medical centers will be funded through the National Career Development Education Fund. For all other York County employees, career counselors are now on staff to serve medical centers in the Chester and Lancaster, South Carolina.
Career development services include one-on-one career counseling, skills and interest assessment, career workshops, and case management to ensure successful transition to new jobs.
3. REDEPLOYMENT: Working with local labor/management teams, redeployment services have been completed or are in process for chart room workers in the outpatient medical records departments at all York County medical centers. These employees have received or soon will receive skills assessment, career counseling, and training to assist them to transition into new jobs within the department or other areas of York County.
4. WORKFORCE DATA: The Management Global Services Data Dashboard is now available online to view data on South Carolina workforce. For the first time, this data dashboard provides managers with a centralized warehouse for both recruitment and payroll data. Managers are now able to analyze the entire employment life cycle from recruitment to retirement. Vacancy rate, transfer data, time-to-fill, demographic data and much more is now available by region, medical center, cost center and job code.
The next release of the dashboard, scheduled for January 2015, will include patient care service data and detailed transfer information.
