ManaComm-CommunicatingAcrossCultures.docx
After completing the assigned readings for this week, think about a person from a different culture with whom you work or have worked or interacted professionally. Do some research on the culture and how it differs from your own. Create a brief PowerPoint presentation explaining
· how this culture differs from your own
· the key considerations when conducting business with or working with people from this culture (e.g., how to greet somebody, distance etc.)
· your suggestions/recommendations on how successful business interactions would be achieved with people from this different culture
· your recommendations on how somebody should learn about a different culture in preparation for working with people from different countries or of different ethnicities.
Remember to use good slide design. You may use a format of your choice to present this material. Do not exceed 10 slides. Cite when necessary and include a references list.
