Major Project - Analyze the data provided and write a two-page report making sense of the findings. Present the actual SAS EG analyses in an appendix at the end of the document. In the report, "translate" the statistical results into a summary that is meaningful to a business leader who wants to use your report to inform business decisions in the organization.

In an attempt to determine the best communication mix of a multichannel fundraising campaign, you collected the following data from a random sample of donors from a client organization:

· Amount: total amount given by the donor in the given year

· Emails: number of emails the donor received during the year

· Letters: number of letters the donor received during the year

· Calls: number of phone calls the donor received during the year

· Donor Level: the level of a donor based on previous donations as follows:

· 1= General Donor

· 2 = Mid-Level Donor

· 3 = Major Donor

Run the appropriate SAS EG analyses to test the following hypotheses that your client shared with you:

· There is a difference in the number of emails we send to our donors by their level.

· There is a difference in the number of letters we send to our donors by their level.

· There is a difference in the number of calls we make to our donors by their level.

· There is a difference in the average amount given by our donors by their level.

· The more emails we send to our donors, the more they give.

· The more fundraising letters we send to our donors, the more they give.

· The more we call our donors, the more they give.

· The more emails, letters, and calls we send to our donors, the more they give.

When done testing these hypotheses, prepare a report to present your client the results of your analyses as well as make recommendations based on your findings. The report should have the following sections:

· Title page

· Executive summary (1 page) – this where you summarize the findings and recommendations for the busy client who might not have the time to read beyond this executive summary

· Report itself (3-4 pages) – Start by presenting general descriptive stats on all variables. Then, move the hypothesis testing analyses. Explain the results. As necessary, include the appropriate SAS EG tables as empirical evidence supporting your findings. Conclude with a series of recommendations based on your findings.

Write with your “client” in mind and heart. Make the report easy to understand. Add visuals (tables, charts, etc.) as you consider appropriate.
