Our team video discussion was successful. We spoke of the importance of making sure that the healthcare side of the subject cyber security breaches. When it comes to passwords for company applications and access to charting the demand of making sure the passwords are changed every so often. Because some of our team members are military affiliated one thing that we were able to agree on within this discussion is the importance of protecting patient PII. We discussed the heightened alert for cyber security breaches when working in the healthcare field and alongside of the military. Discussion of adding in current governmental events was also a great point for the assignment.

Cyber security breaches in the Healthcare industry pose a major threat to those organizations. Cyber security breaches not only effect the patients and organizations important information but also these types of breaches can affect the organizations creditability. When an organization creditability is questioned due to a cyber security breach that organization may lose customers due to the fear of their information not being protected properly.
