Remember:

· In body paragraphs, follow a 3 step process: 1) Make a point. 2) Support the point with research. 3) Provide analysis—in your own words, explain what the research means, why it is important, how it relates to the topic sentence.

· Do not begin or end paragraphs with someone else’s words/quotes.

· Direct quotes should be no more than 10% of the paper. Instead, rely more on paraphrases.

· Make sure you correctly cite the material and reword paraphrases.

· Remember, no 1st or 2nd person. That means no “I think”, “I feel” or use of the words “you/your”.

· Instead, use 3rd person throughout the paper.

· Make sure your sources are academic. Use the sources you identify in the Annotated Bibliography.
