Workplace diversity involves having a variety of differences among individuals in an organization. There are benefits of employing a diverse workforce, such as increasing adaptability where each employee brings personal talents and ideas that are flexible in the changing markets and consumer preferences. It also creates a broader service range since there will be a diverse collection of skills that enable a firm to offer services on a global basis. An organization can meet strategy needs and that of consumers effectively from obtaining a variety of viewpoints and will be executed effectively. These advantages are not without challenges since with a diverse workforce, and communication can be ineffective due to cultural and language barriers. Employees might also resist changing by refusing that cultural and social make-up of their workplace is transforming, and this mentality inhibits progress and silence new perspectives.

Gender diversity refers to how people of different genders are presented equally and commonly involve men and women and non-binary genders. To promote fairness and equality in the workplace, both men and women have to be presented equally in terms of the salary they receive, the hiring process, and the provision of the same opportunities for everyone and promoted at the same rate. The goal of employing gender diversity is to promote fairness and encouragement in every employee to let them know that they are valued equally without bias and that they are expected to offer the same competency in achieving the company's goals (Fine et al., 2020). The executive summary goal is to display the need for gender diversity in the workplace, such as the company obtaining different points of view and approaches from various experiences.

The benefits of implementing gender diversity in the workplace have a wider talent pool and abilities, which increase productivity and the bottom line of the company. It also enhances employee retention because an inclusive culture in the workplace influence morale and opportunity, and churn rates reduces, which allows the company to have significant savings in terms of costs and time spent in hiring. The organization will also have a better reflection of its customers as a result of more make-up; thus, it will be easy to communicate with them effectively. The company benefits from women by obtaining a strong buying power since they are known to be influential in making purchasing decisions.

Gender diversity promotes collaboration in the workplace. Assigning women on teams helps to enhance the processes in the teams and boosts group collaboration. This is because they are observed to possess strong skills in reading verbal cues. They are also better, in turn, taking when conversing; hence when both groups are present in a project, it helps them create a combination of knowledge and skills. This will assist workers in using collaboration tools like workplace groups and modern communication. It also leads to innovative thinking, and investors are signaled that the company is competently operated. Gender diversity contributes to innovation in the workplace as the company obtains various perspectives from different life experiences (Nielsen et al., 2018). When both genders are in teams, the numerous and different perceptions spark creativity, influencing innovation, and assisting the firm in spotting and seizing new opportunities. Organizations can also be encouraged to challenge gender stereotypes.

It is crucial to address gender diversity in the workplace to ensure easy accessibility to resources and attract and retain women with talents. It is essential as more women are now joining the labor force globally. When a person is exposed to diversity daily, he/she will experience regular exposure to different cultures, people, practices, among other things that are essential in enhancing communication skills and expanding knowledge. Diversity is critical in the workplace, as it increases creativity and innovation (Alvarez-Campos, 2020). The interaction of various people from different backgrounds, experiences, and views is the one that leads to greater creativity. This is essential to a company since it increases its productivity, promotes success, and achieves organizational goals.
