This assignment is an extension of M5-1 CH2M Hill (Case Study Worksheet). In Module 6 you will explore and expand your understanding of this multi-layered case through class discussion. Finalize your analysis and recommendations by writing a one-page executive summary.

There are two (2) deliverables for this assignment:

M6-2a (0 points): Bring your completed Case Study Worksheet, submitted as assignment M5-1, to Face-to-Face Class #2. You will use it in your small group discussion about the case.

M6-2b (50 points): Write an executive summary about CH2M Hill. Your paper should be one-page, single spaced, 1” margins.

Write from the perspective of Jan Walstrom. Your executive summary will go to the CH2M Hill Board of Directors. It should include the following:

· A professional voice – third person, neutral, fact-based

· The first paragraph is a synopsis, including an overview of your recommendations

· Primary Issues in the case

· Underlying issues & conditions

· Risks to the company (of doing nothing)

· Recommendations (with supporting detail)

· Closing statement / paragraph

· Use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling
