Assignment 3: Application

Go to Shared Documents and choose the database (.sav) file for your area of study. It is highly recommended that you continue to use this file throughout the rest of the course. Open the applicable assignment instructions linked below. 

Follow the instructions for the Module 5 Assignment. There are three questions to answer. Each question is worth 20 points.

Your assignment will be submitted as a Microsoft Word file. Transfer appropriate SPSS tables (see note below) into your document to support your conclusions.

Name your assignment R7031M5yourlastname.doc and submit it to the Submissions Area by the due date assigned.

NOTE:

1. In SPSS, set your tables to APA Style.

2. From the data window (spreadsheet), select  Edit  and then  Options  from the menu.

3. In the options Menu, click on the  Pivot Tables  folder.

4. Select the  academic  style and then click OK. All tables will now be produced using the selected format

5. Bring your tables into Microsoft Word by:

· Copying and pasting the table from the output file. Click on the table (a box appears around the table), then press COPY (CTRL C); open an MSWORD DOC and press PASTE (CTRL V) and the table will appear in the WORD document.

· Or, using Export to create an entire MSWORD document. Go File >> Export. Then, select Word/RTF file (*.doc) as the file type; select “All Objects,” and then click Browse to place the file on your hard drive. Then click OK.
