Conduct a financial analysis report on two companies that are in the same industry

(e.g. Walmart, Target). You will need to download the most recent annual report and be able

to compose a written report and compute selected ratios that will help with your investment

decision. Suggestion: Visit the company website and find the investor relations section or you

can visit Yahoo Finance or other financial websites. In this module, submit the names of the

2 companies you want to analyze.

“Your financial analysis report highlights the financial strengths and weaknesses of your

company. Essentially, the report communicates the financial health of your company to investors.

You can use a financial analysis report to attract the interest of investors and help grow your

business further”. (Tanski-Phillips, 2019). You may also use the financial analysis report for

projects, budgets and other finance-related transactions

in order to determine their performance and suitability.

The two companies that I am going to consider for this are: Toyota Motor Cop & Subaru

Corporation. They are engaging/involving in the manufacture and sale of motor vehicles and

parts.
