Annotation:

This source, by Pinzariu and Minea (2019), speaks volumes of war support due to the

need to fight global threats across the Nations citing credible agencies and companies in

support of logistics. Pinzariu and Minea are professors at the Land Forces Academy that

specialize in Logistics. Logistics across the military branches has profoundly enabled the

forces to complete many tasks on all areas. The military aggressively attacking the

persistence of outbreaks of instability in the past years prepped them to be prepared and

ready for any situation. This source reviews the concept of the past military actions to the

newer aspects of the shape of war, development in society, and connection between states

and art.

Logistics support management is the key to the whole system whether in peacetime

(during a time of no war occurring) or wartime (during a time of conflict with an

opposing nation). This source provides clarity in areas of supply, movement/

transportation, and maintenance. Being able to anticipate the actions of wartime during a

peacetime gives accurate information on the militaries response. Within the logistic

world, there are specific documentation needed, turn in requirements, suspense dates that

cannot be missed to included accurate transmission of paperwork on all levels. The

military decision making process is an outline for being proactive instead of reactive. In

order to be proactive, the logistics support management system take effect in all areas and

time sets for readiness.

Annotation:

Haraburda, a retired logistician with a PHD, is a partner and executive of Haraburda

LLC. This source focusses on Supply Chain Management (SCM) in reference to excess

inventory levels, uncontrolled systems, and overage in budget citing credible logistic

companies and databases. In support of logistic management; affects to cost, efficiency,

and effectiveness across the military is depended on the force and actions taken. The

military has noticed in the past years a degree of inefficiency when it comes to logistical

systems working hand in hand to correct past overages in cost. To counteract these

actions, supply chain elements are focused on efficiency and effectives in order to

support future operations.

Addressing the deficiency in logistic systems attempts to correct the issue head on while

saving the military money across all the branches. The covering of the cost overrun and

number one area of issue, ammunition support to units, is the SCM area of focus.

Annotating that ammunition is the starlight of war fighting support for military readiness,

moves whether the Conventional Munitions Industrial Base (CMIB) will be based out of

the commercial or government organizations. Hence this source sustenance the concept

of military benefiting of logistic support management.

This source, represents the ability to explain in thoroughness of the military concept of

working smarter not harder. There many sources cited within this eBook and credibility

was legitimate within the introduction paragraph. National Research Council re-interrupts

the central collusion of all movement and support operations as the battlefield hero and

with out them the military would fail drastically. Once again, addressing logistics with

superior technology efforts and minimizing the personnel and equipment without

affecting the support of readiness for power control around the globe. Systems have been

emplaced for years and have been working efficiently but development to create a

flawless operation is never ending. In determination to still affect this zone of focus, the

logistics concerns are weighed out when it comes to technology, transportation,

movements operations, supply 15 storage support, ammunition allocations for new

calendar years and combat vehicles recycle turn ins.

Nevertheless, lowering cost values and creating equipment that is highly operative in

urban areas will result in readiness during war operations. Optimally that is what the

militaries main focus is on. In this source an exhibit was made an example of how an

operation may look once communication systems, highly survivable combat vehicles and

databases of awareness set to include fire power and air support on demand. These areas

all fall under logistics capabilities and the more focus on the support of logistic

management the military makes will provide faster and more accurate fire support for any

situation that may arise.
