Principles of Good Supply Chain

The SCM or what is called supply chain management is very common for commerce. The term is basically used to describe the service flow of goods run. The supply chain management involves the total movement goods supply and storage management like raw materials gathering, then working to invent the new product that meant to be delivered. Later the product sends to the marketing channels. The total working system is known as the SCM.

The process of supply chain managing involves a different type of business-related to creating a product, making the deliverable product out of the raw materials after finishing all the merchandise work, that send to the market. The process includes farming, then refreshing the product, designing, packaging and manufacturing and then the transportation.

But in the case of Beer game, things are a little difficult and different. It is kind of a logistic game created by the group of professors named the system Dynamic group in the time of the sixties. That model is described by the single play account in which the user or the operator enters the “vender orders” which can be postponed by the three weeks before it becomes the finishing part of the goods inventory game.  In the game the participants can be the students, customers and managers. The purpose of the game is to improve the SC matter and improve the performance (Pozzi, et al., 2018).

The process of the game start with the term “Equilibrium” in which the customers ordering the 10 cases of beer and people have 10 cases of product inventory that has to be done within each groups. The principles of the game are simple like within two weeks the orders started to increase and the number reached 10 to 15.

The game has different several steps which seem too difficult to manage and as well as to control. The game needs planning and anticipation for each member’s operational engagement. The first step of the game keeps the customers on waiting which causes the frustration and waiting for order fulfillment where the second fulfillment involved with the experts who don’t keep the customer to wait and try to make the situation of order fulfillment. The goals of the supply chain management are by avoiding the duplicate manage the efficient work and making the situation to fulfill the customers’ demands and making clients satisfied.

The total matter represents various terminology which seems like, the orders which come from the new consumers are started to increase and create a long-lasting effect on the matter of customer order process. The ordering system I related with the new orders and as well as the aggregate orders.

There are several potential ways administrators may make the expected recovery lag ranging from constants within guesstimates to complicated calculations. Normally, it needs time to identify differences in delivery times. Clients often do not understand that the services they ordered will be delayed until next the agreed game time or the delivery time has passed. There are maybe some complicated feedbacks between the endogenous calculations, and within the system. The total system may be affected by the number of exogenous cells, both regular and stochastic. The obstacle to getting the new sections is often fickle and may be forced by the capacity of the supplier. In every case, the administrator must determine the application allowance overtime to hold the stock property close to a point or a target mark. Most of these methods tend to produce uncertainty and change. The formation can be used to orders from the management field to medicine and many more.

The work process can be affected by two types of supply chain management problems like coordination problems and bullwhip problems or issues. Both of these problems can affect production. The bullwhip effect can be found in the matters of forecast updating, order batch making and shortage identifying (Lee, Padmanabhan & Whang, 1997). Some issues can be the propensity of over obtaining the raw resources like if someone chooses a total of 25 beers to produce from the 5th week the inventory process started to pile of. For the overworking process to meet the equilibrium it can meet the situation of the improper forecast. As the machine run time increased because of the inventory increasing to 10 beer to 25 beers, now it started to yield more products. That causes the effects on the manufacturing system and the procurement postponements or delays. In the simulation part, the customer's demand started to fall short due to the eliminate issue. Otherwise, the process of backlog, order more inventory and forcing the other participants for backlog can cause the also effect on the supply chain.

Production: Work done by the 1 week.

Finishing: Done on the same day.

Shipment: Same day.

The consumers sharing the prognosis on line and organize the transportation route within the 7 days. They collect the raw materials and use the JIT techniques for the different supply process. By following the slow activity things can be changed (Essays UK, 2018).

Through the game, one can get the knowledge of supply chain and customer demand meet. First of all, work can be divided between players or suppliers. It is more pimple to understand the total process according to the simulation. The main key role is the customer demand and customer satisfaction. Each sector of work should be planned to meet the challenges to fulfill the customer's demand. Lack of coordination between events the whole supply chain can be affected.
