Please submit a four-to-six-page introduction with the following content:

• Summary of past literature (most of the paper)

o Tell an organized story about the literature

o What are the major findings from past research?

o How does this lead to your project?

o What are the gaps (“deficiencies”) in the past research literature?

• Purpose statement (one paragraph)

o Purpose of the study (one sentence)

o Research question or hypothesis (one sentence)

o Setting of the study (one sentence or part of a sentence)

 

Style

 

• Four to six pages in APA style

• Double spaced, 1-inch margins, 12 pt. font

• Remember to use the past tense when describing the previous literature

• At least five references in APA style

o In-text citations

o Reference list
