Please adhere to the following guidelines for the literature review draft.

1. APA format (cover page, citations, and reference page)

a. Avoid “cute touches”

b. Do not highlight important words; use italics instead

c. No clip art

2. 5-7 pages (not including cover page or reference page)

a. Final paper will require 7-10 pages

b. Number all pages

c. Double space the draft

3. 15%-25% originality score (not including references)

4. Use primary sources of information as opposed to secondary sources

5. Use great care to avoid plagiarism.

Please consider the following when submitting your literature review draft:

1. Be aware that you are summarizing past and current research to identify the need for your study.

2. Begin the literature review on a topic that is sufficiently specific.

3. Be aware of personal points of view versus well thought out research
