Literary Analysis of Sula
This aspect of betrayal has shown that in most cases people that we are very close to may end up betraying us. When Hannah states that she loves Sula but at the same time does not like her, she tries to teach the reader about relationships in this life. For instance, the reader is able to understand that relationships are not bound to work as expected and that one can be betrayed by the other (Gillespie,2007). The climax of the story is when Nel decides to confront Sula to get an explanation why she did all this to her bearing in mind they have been friends for a long time. Finally, Nel forgives Sula for her mistakes and this brings peace to her.
