Social impairment occurs when an individual acts in a less positive way or performs worse when they are around others. Imagine doing a crossword puzzle by yourself and then imagine doing it on a screen in front of an entire classroom. You would most likely perform the puzzle faster and more accurately when alone.

For this assignment, we will focus on LBBTQ+ youth. Please see the chart below. 

Your assignment is to plan two therapeutic recreational activities for a group of six LGBTQ+ youth. The compostion of the group of youth consists of  4 males and 2 females that are in a residential housing program because their families will not accept the fact that they are LGBTQ+. They are all dealing with social impairments.
