Levels of Organizational Change
Listed below are the four levels of organizational change.
First Level
The first level of change is where the organization evaluates where it wants to be in the future and calculates whether it has the resources to implement change to reach that goal.
Second Level
The second level of change can be accomplished through the assistance of using a strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis to further appraise the core competencies of the organization to assess the feasibility of implementing the change. Strengths and weaknesses must be understood because of risks involved.
Third Level
The third level of change can be made to develop structural resources or acquire technology that must be available to implement the change.
Fourth Level
The fourth, and final, level of change is where the change can incrementally take place.
