The sexism can also be considered as the oppression as it is based on an idea that women are inferior to women and the men oppress the women in society. It is prejudice or discrimination based on gender. Racism is the marginalization of people based on their color. It is also a form of oppression. Prejudice or discrimination is common between sexism and racism. In racism, discrimination is done based on color. And in sexism, discrimination is done based on gender. The difference is that racism is associated with colors of the individuals; black and white. And the sexism is related to the gender of the individuals; male and female. At the local level, the people show discrimination to the black people and mistreat them is an example of racism discrimination. The men do not provide an opportunity to their daughters to study more is an example of discrimination based on sexism. At the national level, racism and sexism being exercised at the private or public organizations is the example. At the global level, the people discriminate the people of lower-level areas is an example of racism. And the women in the developing countries are unable to prove herself at the international platforms is an example of sexism discrimination.
According to the Kantian principles, racism or sexism, both types of discriminations are morally wrong. It affects people negatively. The virtue ethics of Aristotle helps us understand the oppression and how someone can get harm due to oppression, especially women.
