Let’s Get Creative (50 points) Due December 9th by 11:00pm in D2L

For the purpose of this assignment, is for you to apply the knowledge that you have learned over the course of the

semester to help address child maltreatment. You can complete this assignment with 1 other person or you can

complete it on your own. If you work with someone else, you BOTH need to submit the assignments into D2L with both

of your names on it.

You will have 2 class periods to work on this assignment, so make sure you are using your time wisely. Think about the

details. Think about how to get people engaged. Think about how we break down the barriers that we have discussed in

class. Regardless of what option you pick, the ultimate goal is to provide accurate information and dispel myths.

Submissions that reinforce myths/stereotypes will be graded down accordingly.

you can save your work/do not have to pay for a subscription.

Keep in mind that some of your submissions might need a write-up to give them a little context. If you just submit a

comic strip and it doesn’t make sense on its own, then you need to type something up to go with it. The length of your

write-up is dependent on what you decide to do. If I am still left with questions after reading it, you will be docked

points. I should not have to fill in the blanks, nor should any reader/viewer.

Formatting:

As the strategies that you use in completing this assignment will vary, so will what you turn in. However, where

applicable, you are still expected to follow the general assignment guidelines. Remember, don’t just do to the bare

minimum and then call it good. I can tell when you have not put effort into your work and where there was more you

could have discussed and your grade will reflect this.
