Goal

The goal is to enable the children know how to write the alphabet/ Hold writing materials

Objective

By the end of the lesson, the children should have known to identify and write letter A, B, C, D, and E.

Standards Included

· Children should have known how to hold writing materials such as coloring crayons, pencils and others.

· They should be able to identify the letters whether they are written in order or mixed

· They should be able to color them when the letters are written on a piece of hard paper without coloring any other outside part.

Materials

Hard paper, crayons, pencils, rulers, exercise books.

Introduction

The teacher will ask the children is any of them can recite the alphabet to any level.

Lesson Development

The teacher will write the first letters of the alphabet on the board and ask the children to read after her. One letter will be sang at a time until the children are able to recite all of them together like a song. They will them write the letters big enough to be seen by the whole class in a hard paper and divide the children into five groups and ask each group to color one letter and identify it.

Differentiation

For the children who are slow to understand, the teacher will personally work with them in calling their names and asking them to read individually after him, after which the teacher will follow them to their desks to further explain the whole concept in a song.

Assessment

Understanding)

The teacher will go through the group work and later, he will tell the children to take their exercise books and return to their individual desks and write any letters they have studied that day. When they write them; whether in order or not, the teacher will ask the children to identify the letters.

Closing

The teacher will conclude by singing the song of the letters again together with the children so that they as the teacher leaves the class, the children are continuing to sing the song.
