The authors of this article discuss various types of Euthanasia. However, they argue against the legalization illustrating the impacts they may have. The article contains an argument on the opponents and the proponent’s points of view while taking the legal and the ethical expectations into considerations. The authors base their arguments according to the religious, reliance, and palliative care and also illustrating how it turns out to be slippery slope when implemented. I will use this article to support my arguments on how religion criticizes from Euthanasia.
Netherlands started with the acceptance of Euthanasia for adults and later accepted it for children too. It was a biting of a slippery slope according to the authors where it began as ethically appropriate and later physicians started accepting deaths for patients without consent. According to the other there are various negative consequences that are foreseen at the beginning. This article will help me build an argument of the long terms effects and the unforeseen consequences that Euthanasia may bring.

This article examines the moral arguments of Euthanasia that indicates a moral disagreement due to the conflicting values and moral considerations. The author argues how legalizing Euthanasia is based on a compromise among conflicting values and morals. However, it introduces other alternatives that could be taken into account instead of Euthanasia. Through this article, I can illustrate the value conflicts that it creates and generate recommendations.

This article focuses on various types of Euthanasia and how it has been applied in different cases and different countries. It discusses different opinions on Euthanasia illustrating its impacts on the individual and the society at large. However, from the discussion it illustrates Euthanasia as a form of murder and why it should not be practised. Through this article I can base an argument on how Euthanasia devalues the human lives and how it creates religious and ethnic problems.

This article starts by defining the roles of the physicians that is contrary to prescribing medication with a primary intention of causing death. The article argues how the practice of a physician to hasten death is contrary to the interest of the patient, their families and the ethical practice of medicine. I will use this article in illustrating the roles of the physicians and create an argument on the contradictions it brings to their roles.

According to the author, it is a dangerous idea to legalize Euthanasia. Taking lessons from Canada, paradox is needed after legalization. There is minimum ability to limit the minimum impacts that come after its legalization which is already seen in Canada. This article will be highly useful in presenting my arguments on the harmful impacts in legalizing Euthanasia based with the facts from Canada.

From this article the authors argue on that the legalization of Euthanasia is morally problematic and it would deprive the illegal patients their right to stay alive by default. The author specifically focuses on the state-sanctioned Euthanasia. This article also emphasizes on more search on potential harms of legalizing the Euthanasia for the patients as the end of life. This article will help in creating an understanding on what state sanctioned euthanasia can do, their effects and the negative impacts.
Reflection
The sentences in the annotated bibliography summarizes the main ideas of the source. They access and evaluate the source. The sentences reflect on the source. When searching for the source I identified the information I needed evaluating the information sources I found. I determined the objectivity and the accuracy of the information. I had challenges due to the lack of access to the access to literature needed. I was also blocked from searching in certain data centres. However I was able to overcome the challenge by searching widely to have more information access. I used online data bases such as Google scholar.
