"Megan's Law" Please respond to the following:

· From the e-Activity, determine if there are any sex offenders living within a 3-mile radius of your address. Next, discuss whether or not you believe that in addition to registering as a sex offender, the offender should also be prohibited from using any form of social media networks that allow children to join or is the restriction of the use of social medial a violation of their 1st Amendment rights? Justify your position and respond to no less than one of your peers.

Hello Professor/Classmates

I conduct a search of the 3 mile radius from my address. I was pleasantly surprise and very happy to learn at the same time that there was not any sex offenders living near my home address. What I did learn, is that in my county there is a total of 109 registered sex offenders. Their levels of concern was also displayed with their offense. I believe sex offender should be band from any site that allow children to join. I t know there will be people who say, but this violates their 1st Amendment right. Sometime I think people in America abuse their right and then complain about when it is restricted. This restriction is a violation of their rights, but the sex offenders should have thought about their actions before they committed the crime.  An example of this if someone goes to prison, in some states even after their release they can't vote.
