Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday only in the morning cause my classes start at 2pm

Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday all day.

Four learning objectives:

During my internship with the American Red Cross/ Blood Services:

· I will learn how to provide effective services to the donors by learning practical skills day by day from the employees.

· I will gain knowledge about healthcare field in general by visiting several kinds of blood drive locations and by observing professional personnel as well; In addition I will learn how general skilled nursing is provided to benefit me in my future career.

· I will strength my interpersonal communication skills by offering effective customer service for the community.

· Lastly, in my internship time I will have more clerical, administrative skill as well.

General description of activities in which you will be engaged:

Hospitality:

Make sure that the hospitality area is clean and everything is on its place and help the site coordinator if he/she needs me.

Register and Assisting Donors:

Make sure that the donors know how to chick in and help them if they need anything for example asking them about their choice of water, juices and snacks, as well as watching for signs that a donor does not feel well and let the Coordinator know.
