The two leaders I chose are Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. Jeff Bezos is the CEO of amazon. Bezos’ successful businesses have made him one of wealthiest men in the world. Jeff Bezos was born in the year 1964 in New Mexico. He had early love for computers when he was growing up. He went further and studies computer science and electrical engineering at Princeton University (Kennedy, D. 2018). After the university graduation, Bezos worked on Wall Street. In the year 1990, Jeff became the youngest senior vice president at the investment company D.E Shaw. After four years, Jeff resigned from his luxurious job and opened Amazon.com, which used to sell books online and later became one of the internet’s greatest success stories. In the year 2013, Jeff purchased the Washington Post. Later in the year 2017, Amazon obtained whole foods.
The second leader is Mark Zuckerberg. Mark Zuckerberg is the founder and the leader of facebook. He was born in the year 1984, the month of May date 14. He was born in the White Plains, New York, and later raised in close by Dobbs Ferry. Mark Zuckerberg was lucky to be born in a well-educated family and developed interest in computer programming at a young age. At the age of 12, Mark developed a messaging program and named it Zucknet that he later implemented it as an inter-office communication program for his father’s dental application. Because of his early signs of success, his parents provided him with a computer programming tutor when he was still in high school. After prep school in New Hampshire, Mark Zuckerberg joined Harvard University (Yu, L. 2019). During his early times at the university, Mark built two programs; FaceMash and CourseMatch. The programs later became popular at the university but later they were shut down. Mark went ahead and created facebook in the year 2004 and later dropped out of University to pursue facebook, full time. This made Mark one of the richest men in the world.
