Global factors that influence the development and success of a strategic leadership approach are included but not limited to the legal environment, cultural norms, social behaviors, and religious beliefs. Strategic leaders are required to focus on the consumer as the main element in the global competition. Leaders should express their vision for the worldwide market, define what motivates staff to work toward the company vision. Global strategic leadership should consider currency change rates to decide which foreign market to invest in and what products to sell. Create clear and transparent communication to motivate staff. Global businesses are facing uncertainty and risk. Strategic planning focus on the use of rational thinking toward common goals. Factors such as innovation, technology anticipate risks, and how to take advantage of potential opportunities. Study the market trends and patterns so they can be able to adjust their approaches to the changing competitive environment. Adjust to cultural and social norms. Respect existing religions and traditions. Keep employees updated about the organization's vision, legal environment, competitive environment, cultural and social customs. Identify risks and forecast mitigation strategies, determine opportunities and threats that face the company globally. Face constant changes hire diverse sources. Deal with the complexity of expansion, study growing trends. Leaders should be conscious about the company policies, flexible, aware of taxes and tariffs, cost-effective materials, currency fluctuation, increase competition. The two critical factors that are considered essential to global strategic leadership approaches are Ethics and culture these key elements among others help organizations succeed in the global markets because companies need to provide their customers with an ethical, trustful and respectful image. Organizational culture can be noticed at the communication level, decision making, and leaders' actions on how to respond to various challenges. At the cultural level, the competitive advantage and diversity are what challenge leaders daily. Strategic leaders must deal with innovation and technology also to survive the marketplace. Ethical practices are evident in organizations' moral actions. Leaders' ethical practices serve as a positive influence on employees and customers. Leaders must demonstrate a level of honesty, trust, integrity, and reliability; these qualities reflect on strategic leadership styles and the company's reputation for high ethical practices (Ireland, & Hitt,1999). Cultural and ethical practices are two essential elements to strategic leadership because they help leaders to adopt to global needs. These practices with other techniques can drive worldwide success to reach across multiple cultures, norms, and beliefs (HandaGupta, 2012). It is in leaders' ability to unite the employees, help locals and global leaders to respect different values, seek a better understanding of multiple cultural issues, and have a tactic to grow in the worldwide market. Globalization impacts businesses around the world from various angels; for companies to survive, they need to possess high ethical practices, hire a diverse workforce to fit in different cultural marketplaces. The cross-cultural connection helps with decision making and helps leaders strategically operate in the international market (Wolfeld, 2016).
