Please respond to these 2 posts made on the discussion post about Steve Job. Answer the bold and highlighted question in each statement.
Statement 1:
I did not know that Steve Jobs grew Apple's stock by 9000%. I always find it fascinating how someone can come in with such a clear vision that works. I think a lot of trial and error must have to occur for these large changes to be successful. As you mentioned, I think looping in other experts in different areas of design is helpful. Most companies rely heavily on marketing right now, so using different design ideas can increase the number of customers due to reaching different target markets. I can remember wanting an iPhone growing up, but there were seemingly other phones that were better. Right now, I can't imagine having a cellphone that was not an iPhone. I wonder if the same will be said with PCs vs. Macs soon. I personally have a Mac, but use a PC at work. I do have to say, the connection of texting from an iPhone to a Mac is the reason why I love my Mac so much. What do you think? Will Mac's take our the laptop game soon?
Statement 2:
Steve Jobs is one of my favorite leaders, mainly because of his brilliant mind to understand the industry and give his customers a product that provided utility. Per your discussion, Mr. Jobs had to align the company with the prospects of productivity and development to a more significant positive outcome in the production process. Can you share with the class what this met and the approach taken to achieve this goal?
