Lack of Education: Rough Draft

Lack of education is a significant issue that affects the lives of humanity. Though education is considered one of the basic entitlements of human beings, not all individuals are privileged to access it. Studies show that over 70 million children lack the chance to get a formal education (Kashif et al., 2020). This aspect is factual, especially amongst disadvantaged communities such as low-income earners who lack the funds needed to afford an education or lack access to learning facilities. Lack of education causes these individuals to encounter numerous challenges in their day to day lives, including having poor health and being unemployed. Investigative research shows that educational programs, especially the initial classes, help create a firm foundation on which the future of young ones are built (Aro et al., 2019). Therefore, education is a pivotal component in building a successful life, with the foundation provided in elementary school being a critical part of that education. Ideally, elementary school education will define a child's attitude towards other people, schoolmates and teachers.

Background Information

Many individuals today, especially those in developing countries and low-income earners, lack adequate education. In these populations, many parents fail to take children to school, especially to elementary school, despite the significance of these early childhood classes. There are numerous reasons why many individuals fail to perform the critical task of sending their young ones to school. Firstly, some geographical regions lack adequate learning institutions to meet their needs (Kashif et al., 2020). Subsequently, another significant cause of lack of education is the failure to conceptualize the significance of taking children to school, especially the elementary classes. They fail to note the crucial skills the learners acquire while in these educational programs, including social skills that enable them to interact with other individuals constructively. Further, lack of adequate finances is another significant reason that causes many individuals to fail to take their young ones to obtain an education. Further, lack of essential resources such as trained educators and teaching tools also interfere with learners' ability to acquire an education.

Lack of education impacts society in different ways. Firstly, it increases the poverty in a community due to lack of employment or recruitment in poorly paying positions. Subsequently, a lack of knowledge negatively affects the health of individuals because they cannot access adequate healthcare services (Statti & Torres, 2020). further, it increases the chances of individuals engaging in illegal activities such as selling illegal drugs and firearms or whoring to earn an income. Lack of education is also disadvantageous because it negatively impacts a region's economy by reducing the income levels of its residents. Comment by TutorMe Tutor: Needs to be capitalized

Solutions to the Societal Global Issue

Funding Educational Program

The strategies that can be used to resolve the lack of education are increasing and prioritizing the finances allocated to educational programs. The funds allocated to the academic programs will help find solutions to the prevalent societal issue of lack of education in several ways. Firstly, it will help build educational facilities in low-income regions and equip them with the resources they need to provide quality education to learners (Statti & Torres, 2020). For example, it will help build classrooms, libraries and laboratories that are essential to the progression of learning facilities. Subsequently, the finances can be used to train an adequate number of teachers to perform the critical role of educating young ones. Creating Awareness about the benefits of education and Consequences of a Lack of Education

Another practical approach that can be used to resolve the lack of education is creating awareness in the masses about the essentiality of obtaining an education and the benefits that individuals derive from it. According to Aro et al. (2019), some individuals are not aware of the significance of obtaining an education in the life of humanity. Therefore, it is significant to enlighten members of the public, especially those from minority communities and low-income earners, about the essence of obtaining an education and the benefits that young ones gain from the choice. For example, the community can be advised on the benefits they will gain from teaching the young ones, including getting better-paying jobs and having good health. Subsequently, their high income will ensure that they can access adequate basic needs, including water and food, to sustain themselves and their families. The communities can be enlightened on the significance of educating children, including the need to enroll them in elementary school, where they will learn important content such as social skills, reading and teaching (Kashif et al., 2020). As a result, more and more people will send their children to school to ensure that they receive a quality education that meets their learning needs. Increasing the number of educated individuals is a vital aspect that helps improve the country's economy and reduce poverty levels.

Conclusion

Lack of education is a significant deterrent that impedes growth and development. Therefore, it is an important issue that should be investigated and resolved promptly. Studies show that lack of education, especially in elementary schools, denies the young ones the chance to set a firm educational foundation from which to progress academically to greater heights. The process entails overcoming the factors that precipitate the prevalence of lack of education in the communities and lessening their impacts on young ones. The approach that can be used to achieve this aim includes availing adequate funds that can be invested in educational programs and creating awareness about the need for education extensively so that all individuals understand its significance and take the steps necessary to ensure their young ones are well educated.
