AIDS IN REDUCING THE DIFFICULTY OF THE PROCESS LAYOUT AND, AS A

RESULT, REDUCES THE COST OF THE LAYOUT.

6 D) PROJECT LAYOUT – THIS IS A FIXED POSITION LAYOUT IN WHICH THE

FACTORY IS LOCATED AT A SET LOCATION. Labor, machines, and material are

brought to the assembly location from a fixed location in the factory. 14 CONSIDER THE

SPECIAL REQUEST OR PROBLEM, AND OTHER FACTORS CAN ALL BE

CONSIDERED WHEN EVALUATING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A SUPPLY CHAIN.

The metrics that have been authorized should be efficient, readily available, reliable, valid, and

suitable to the type of product in question. These indicators should be linked to the overall

strategy and aim of the organization.

The supply chain can make two improvements to its metrics by implementing them.

6 A) ACHIEVING OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE – IN THIS CASE, THE

PRINCIPLES OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT MUST CONCENTRATE ON

LOWERING THE ENTIRE COST OF WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS FOR A

SPECIFIC PRODUCT TO SUCCEED.

1 B) PROVIDING BETTER SERVICES IN THE EVENT OF MACHINE

BREAKDOWN - COMPANIES MUST CONCENTRATE ON THIS OPERATIONAL

STRATEGY BECAUSE FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN A LOSS OF

MANUFACTURING CAPABILITY AND THE COMPANY'S REPUTATION IN THE

LONG RUN.

13 “WAYS OF IMPROVING THE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT FOR EACH

COMPANY WITHOUT AFFECTING OPERATIONS AND THE CUSTOMER

BENEFIT PACKAGE. 1 PROVIDE A RATIONALE TO SUPPORT THE

SUGGESTION”.

When inventory is managed incorrectly, sales are lost, whereas inventory management

incorrectly leads to increased storage and labor costs. It is necessary to determine the

appropriate inventory to maintain on hand and in circulation. The following are two

suggestions for enhancing the inventory management of the Apple and Dell corporations.

7 A) FUNCTIONAL PLANNING AND LINKING IT WITH SALES AND

OPERATIONS PLANNING. 14 IT IS THE MOST ACCURATE FORECASTING

deal with variances, the greater the capacity to maintain control over inventories.
