Lab Report Part 2 – Setting up your Experiment ● Do not set up your experiment until you have final approval from your

Assignment - Set up the experiment you outlined in Lab Report Part 1 and take pictures.

● Use what you have read and what you have written in Lab Report Part 1 to set up your experiment

● Number each seed germination container so that you can keep track of which container is exposed to each treatment. Record this in the table below.

● Take pictures of all seed germination containers in the location they will be kept in for the week of the experiment. Be sure you include your name/date in each picture. I

should be able to see the container numbers in each picture.

Plan to check on all germination containers every day. Take daily notes of anything that

happens to your experiment (for example, if a container dries out and you add water – take

notes on what happened, how much water you added, etc.).

Make a list of each container number and its treatment below. Use the table to take notes if

needed. If you used a lot of containers you might need a bigger table.

1 water i put it under light for 3 days to let it grow better.

2 cold water better place to let this also grow up.

3 warm water i put this in the same place but yet they didnt grow up as much.

4 boiling water this took longer to grow because of how hot the water was.

● If necessary, you may collect your data after 6 or 8 days instead of 7 if you need the flexibility in your schedule. Just make a note of this on the data collection assignment!
