Results
Our assembly was put together as shown in the appendices. There was some trouble at first adjusting the pressure levels for the cylinder to extend and retract at the correct times, but it was an easy fix. Each side was adjusted separately, one for the extension and one for the retraction. We noted the difference in readings for each pressure gauge. The higher the pressure, the faster the cylinder acted.
Conclusions/Comments
When we set up the circuit, it worked as intended. The piston moved in or out at varying speeds as we adjusted one or both flow control valves.
