Overview This lab consists of one activity. Activity 1 involves the research and reporting of current and forward looking career opportunities within the comprehensive field of information assurance / information security / cybersecurity / computer security. Activity 1 – Research and Reporting of Current and Forward Looking Career Opportunities In addition to the articles cited by Nash (2017), Figure 1, and Chadha (2018), Figure 2, locate at least ten (10) additional articles describing career opportunities within the comprehensive field of information assurance / information security / cybersecurity / computer security. Each of the additional articles must be current and forward looking, as opposed to historical or backward looking. Current is defined as having been published in 2016 or later. Discuss your findings in terms of current and future demand for employee skills associated with information assurance / information security / cybersecurity / computer security. You should consider technical skill sets, behavioral attributes, industry certifications, employer demographics, educational requirements, geographical considerations, supply characteristics, demand characteristics, and other aspects you deem fit to support your findings. Additional articles may come from journals, conference proceedings, newspapers, magazines, or web sites. You are free to use internet resources (e.g. Shafer Library Journal Finder, NIST, NICE, Google Scholar, Google, Wikipedia, etc.) to support the classroom and textbook discussions on this topic, and to learn more in order to support your findings. All references must be properly cited. Lab Report Write a lab report describing your research and findings. Use the lab report template, located on Canvas, to complete your report. Use screen shots, graphs, and tables to support your findings. Inserted objects, such as screen shots, graphs, and tables, should be properly sub-titled and referenced within your report.
