Lab 12 – Incident Response Lab

For this lab, you are tasked with developing (outline format) an IRP Training Plan.

Use the 7 steps of IRP:

· Preparation

· Identification

· Containment

· Investigation

· Eradication

· Recovery

· Follow-up

Provide bulleted lists under each step to discuss what you will do to ensure your IT Department is trained to handle anything that comes along!! Please feel free to use this website as a guide for your plan: https://phoenixts.com/blog/7-stages-incident-response-plan/. You can also add in any laws or regulations to help make your plan stronger and have more backing.

Deliverables:

☐What is your company that you are the CISO for? Are you a huge software manufacturer, a hydroelectric dam? Choose one to help guide you with your training plan.

☐Training Plan for each of the 7 steps mentioned above. Use bulleted lists – no need to write a huge narrative to me.
